Which Covid test should you take if you’ve been travelling?
If you’ve been travelling to the United States recently, you may have been asked to take a Covid-19 test. This is because most of the people who have been affected by the Covid-19 outbreak in the US have been in close contact with a person who has been infected. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that most people who have been exposed to Covid-19 but have not been sick themselves don’t need a Covid test. But if you’ve been to the US recently, and are feeling unwell or have been in contact with someone who has been infected, you should definitely get tested for Covid-19. Most states are asking anyone who has travelled to the US to check for the virus online, or by calling their local health department.
Which Covid test to choose for travel to the USA?
During the coronavirus pandemic, travelers must complete a 14-day quarantine upon arrival. While this 14-day quarantine is required to ensure the traveler is not infected with Covid-19, it is also an opportunity to check for symptoms of the virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that travelers choose between the following Covid tests: 1. A rapid test, which can be done in a doctor’s office, with a turnaround time of just hours. 2. A PCR test, which can only be done in a laboratory. 3. A serology test, which can only be done in a laboratory.
Which Covid test should you take to return to the UK?
If you have recently returned from the US, you will need to take the Covid-19 test again before you are allowed to leave the UK. This is because of the increased risk of Covid-19 in the US. If you are returning from the UK, you don’t need to take a Covid-19 test again when you get home. However, if you are coming from any other country, you will be subject to restrictions if you haven’t taken a Covid-19 test. The Covid-19 test doesn’t show whether or not you have Covid-19, but whether you are a person who is at risk of getting it. So, the test is mainly used to prove that you don’t have Covid-19. However, if you are arriving from a country where the test is being used, you will also need to take a Covid-19 test if you are returning to the UK. This Covid-19 test will take between 2 and 5 hours to complete. This may mean that you can’t travel straight home, so you will need to stay at a Covid-19 testing centre for some time.
