This means that you can travel to the United States without a visa, as long as your trip is for less than 90 days.

The only difference is that the citizens of some countries will need to provide a passport or other documents proving their nationality at US customs when entering the country. Difference between Entry/Exit Pre-screening
United States of America (USA) has implemented a new entry and exit system from germany. The new system was implemented to address the 2019-2020 flu season. The old system allowed travelers from Germany to enter USA through a Pre-Screening System and a paper based application. This old system was criticized for being slow and bureaucratic. Travelers were required to get a green sticker (certificate) to enter USA. Many people found this process to be inconvenient. The new entry system is known as ‘Electronic System for Travel Authorisation and Information System (ESTAIS)’. The main objective of ESTAIS is to increase the traveler’s confidence that their electronic travel authorizations is working properly. The new system will only allow travelers to enter USA if they meet the following requirements:

3. Confirmed hotel reservations
4. Electronic travel authorization
5. Checked baggage
